1. Experience working in a PMO or project team to advise on every step of a project the testing strategy and what needs done from a QA component
*the project could be anything from a new web interface to user surveys, everything is digital
2. Experience with testing best practices, documenting and communicating those best practices (in test cases using Azure Dev Ops)
3. Experience working in an agile environment to quickly move through projects, often handling 3-4 projects at a time
Why is the position open

• Massive increase in project load due to a credit union merger
• Net-new headcount to handle testing demand
• Huge volume of digital, web, mobile, lending, and modernization projects
• This role is on the Technical QA team

This QA role is manual + strategic - not writing automation scripts.
Responsible for:

• Building test strategies
• Building test plans
• Creating test cases
• Coordinating and managing test events
• Tracking findings and risks
• Supporting deployments
• Advising project teams (PMO, BAs, developers) on QA strategy
• Managing 3-4 active projects at once (mid-level expectation)

Test Environment

• Azure DevOps (ADO) for test cases + defining requirements
• Excel for large project tracking sheets, test plans, sign-offs, issue logs
• UAT testing across:
  • All device types
  • Multiple languages
  • All consumer-facing application paths

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
