Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced DFT MBIST Staff Engineer to join our Semiconductor/SoC Design-for-Test team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MBIST implementation, verification, simulation, pattern generation, diagnostics, and silicon bring-up for complex SoC designs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MBIST insertion using Synopsys SMS5/SMS6
• Integrate and verify MBIST at the top level
• Develop, execute, and debug MBIST simulations using Synopsys VCS
• Perform RTL, no-delay gate-level, and timing-aware/with-delay simulations
• Generate and validate MBIST patterns using VecGen
• Debug RTL, MBIST integration, and simulation issues
• Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon MBIST debug
• Analyze memory failures and perform root-cause analysis
• Work closely with DFT, RTL, Physical Design, and Product Engineering teams
• Support MBIST diagnostics and memory repair flows

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on DFT experience
• Strong MBIST experience
• Synopsys SMS5/SMS6
• Synopsys VCS
• MBIST insertion and top-level integration
• VecGen pattern generation
• MBIST diagnostics and debug
• March algorithms
• BIRA/BISR and memory repair
• No-delay and with-delay simulations
• Silicon bring-up / post-silicon debug
• Verilog/SystemVerilog
• Experience with complex SoC designs
• Tcl, Perl, or Python scripting

Preferred

• Advanced SoC DFT integration
• ATPG / Scan experience
• Experience with semiconductor product development
• Strong independent debugging and problem-solving skills
