Armed Patrol Security Officer - Full-Time (Overnight) Location: Denver, CO
Pay: $24.50 per hour
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Armed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at multiple properties in Denver. This position involves a combination of vehicle patrols and foot patrols to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and property staff.
If you are dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours, this is a strong opportunity for consistent full-time work with a professional security team.
Schedule - Friday: 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
This is an overnight position. Candidates must be able to work the full posted schedule.
Position Responsibilities - Patrol assigned properties using a company vehicle
- Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols of buildings, common areas, and amenities
- Inspect doors, gates, access points, and perimeter areas
- Respond to alarms, service calls, and emergent incidents
- Monitor for unauthorized activity, hazards, or suspicious behavior
- Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and property management
- Follow all company policies and site-specific post orders
Minimum Qualifications - Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Active Denver Guard Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to legally work armed security in Colorado
- Ability to work overnight shifts
Preferred (Not Required) - 3+ years of patrol driving experience
- 3+ years of armed security experience
- Experience with reporting platforms such as SilverTrac, Belfry, or TrackTik
- Familiarity with vehicle monitoring systems such as Samsara
