Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with strong Informatica expertise and a solid background in Accounting and Finance to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data integration solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and financial system integrations. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, security, governance, scalability, and compliance across financial source systems, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end application and data integration architecture for finance and accounting systems.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
- Lead data integration initiatives connecting financial ERP systems with data lakes, enterprise data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
- Implement data quality controls, data validation, metadata management, and governance practices to ensure financial data integrity and audit compliance.
- Establish architectural standards, reusable integration frameworks, coding guidelines, and technical documentation.
- Ensure data security, reliability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and oversee integration design and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 4+ years in enterprise application architecture or solution architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, and Informatica Data Quality.
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale ETL/ELT solutions and enterprise data warehousing architectures.
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance concepts, financial data flows, and reporting requirements.
- Experience integrating financial ERP systems with data lakes, enterprise data warehouses, and reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and financial data reconciliation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with finance business teams and technical delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Informatica certifications or cloud platform certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration and modern data architecture solutions.
