SAP/ERP Business Analyst with Cloud experience (We need locals to Herndon, VA)

Candidate can be remote unless they are within 30 miles of the Herndon, VA office and they will then be required to be in office 3 days a week (could change based on business needs)

12 Months contract. Possible Convert to hire after 6 months.

Description:

The CDE build sheet analyst will be responsible for converting purchased cloud software entitlements into infrastructure specifications sufficient for provisioning. They will be responsible for the following:

• Create build sheets from PCE and SHC software specifications based on the our build sheet specification using custom PQA Automation tool.
• Become an expert in the our buildsheet specifications and SAP software entitlements that drives Cloud ERP automated provisioning at our organization.
• Facilitate meetings to review draft build sheets with Ops and CDE leaders ahead of requests to provision
• Facilitate meetings with the Ops Build Team as necessary to ensure build sheets are accepted per standards
• Work collaboratively with Ops leaders to drive changes to the buildsheet specification aligned to gaps or improvement activities.
• Make use of, augment, and refine the buildsheet SOPs in collaboration with other functions
• Make use of, augment, and own the buildsheet validation process and checklist to target zero errors in provisioning.
• Manage and populate a buildsheet log to drive KPIs and improve activities.
• Build and maintain a knowledge management repository in SharePoint that publishes all buildsheet processes, artifacts, and metrics
• Deliver monthly metrics to CDE leadership related to buildsheet performance, issues, and improvement activities.
• Work with SAP ECS to understand S/4HANA PCE SKUs and underlying infrastructure entitlements.
• Support the initiative to use SAP ECS s Pre-deal Qualification Assessment (PQA) to capture landscape information and extracts to drive buildsheets at our organization.
• Work with Solution / Asset Management as necessary to understand SKU specification discrepancies or issues with our availability.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Business, Math or Statistics OR significant Professional Equivalence.
• 3-4 years working in an analyst role.
• Proven attention to detail, especially related to technical information.
• Proven experience in a prior role managing technical information and details where accuracy was paramount.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment. Ability to work well with others and collaborate with different functions.
• Knowledge of IT concepts, cloud computing, software, and systems.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

Desired

• Experience with Cloud ERP from a landscape perspective.
• Practical understanding of cloud architecture and IaaS operations model.
• Knowledge of enterprise technology infrastructure (i. e. networks, storage, enterprise server software including Windows Server, Linux, and monitoring technologies).
• Experience in a Managed Services environment.
