Introduction

As a Senior Engineer, Collaboration at Levi Strauss & Co., you will lead complex hands-on engineering and operational ownership across Microsoft 365 collaboration services. You will deliver secure, reliable solutions, lead major incidents and changes, improve platform health, and mentor other engineers within approved enterprise architecture and governance. This role reports to the Senior Director, End User Services

About the Job
  • Lead complex implementations across Exchange Online, Teams, Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, security, compliance, and platform integrations.
  • Own service health, major-incident technical leadership, root-cause remediation, release readiness, operational improvement, and reliable day-to-day service delivery.
  • Implement approved architecture, governance, security, compliance, lifecycle, monitoring, testing, and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with support, Global Information Security, Legal, network, Facilities, telecommunications, vendors, and business stakeholders during delivery and service restoration.
  • Mentor Collaboration Engineers, improve automation and support readiness, and recommend architecture or policy changes when operational evidence identifies a need.

About You
  • 8+ years of experience in collaboration, messaging, voice, or Microsoft 365 engineering, including ownership of complex global services and changes.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, PowerShell, identity, security, compliance, monitoring, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated success improving service reliability, adoption, security, automation, documentation, and employee experience.
  • Sound judgment in distinguishing implementation decisions from architecture, Legal, policy, security, and enterprise-risk matters requiring escalation.
