We Are Hiring: Technical Project Manager 3 (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to support a high-priority, multi-year IT initiative. This role acts as a bridge between technical teams and agency executives to deliver enterprise system integrations and modern vendor solutions.

• Location: Dimondale, MI 48821 (Candidates must reside within a 90-mile radius at the time of submission)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
• Role Type: Contract (With potential for extension)
• Interview: Strict in-person interview requirement

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Monitor, control, and communicate project progress by actively managing the cost, schedule, scope, quality, and risks from inception through closeout.
• Portfolio Management Tools: Utilize standard tools (such as Clarity and MS Project) to build integration schedules, track resource allocation, and baseline budgets.
• Methodology & Governance: Enforce adherence to formal Project Management Methodologies (PMM) and System Engineering Methodologies (SEM), creating key artifacts like charters, change requests, and corrective action plans.
• Vendor & Contract Oversight: Review vendor contracts to actively track external deliverables, evaluate cost/benefit impacts, and navigate multi-vendor ecosystems.
• Technical Leadership: Oversee engineering teams working across complex software environments, including SaaS and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core IT Project Management: 7+ years of formal experience delivering IT projects on time and on budget while managing budgets, risk logs, and scope changes.
• SaaS & COTS Architectures: 5+ years of experience overseeing technical teams focused on system integration across SaaS and Commercial Off-the-Shelf technologies.
• Tooling & Frameworks: 5+ years of practical experience with enterprise portfolio tools (Clarity) and advanced MS Project functions.
• Methodology & Compliance: 5+ years of experience managing system security plans (SSP), plans of action and milestones (POAM), and working as a Certified Scrum Master.
• Stakeholder Management: 5+ years navigating complex communications across diverse departments, external agencies, and multi-vendor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired.
