Summary
Data center Field Operations Technician
Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 4–6 months in Ohio, followed by relocation to Louisiana
Note: Candidates must be comfortable with onsite work, rotating shifts, and relocation to Louisiana after 4–6 months.
Availability: Immediate joiners or short-notice candidates preferred
Must-Have Skills:
BICSI Installer/Technician certification or equivalent
OSHA 10/30 certification
2–5 years of data center, fiber optics, cabling, or telecom experience
Hands-on fiber optic installation, testing, troubleshooting, and break-fix support
Experience with large-scale rack deployments (50+ racks)
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair physical-layer network issues.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Support data center cabling, rack deployment, and infrastructure operations.
Maintain cable labeling, routing, and safety standards.
Work in rotating day/night shifts with on-call requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Hyperscale data center experience
Liquid-cooled rack systems (AALC)
DCIM, ticketing tools, barcode scanning, and asset management
