Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Mainframe Development, Production Support, Batch Processing, and Change Management activities within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL and Db2.
- Perform production support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Monitor and support batch processing environments and scheduled jobs.
- Develop, modify, and maintain JCL scripts for batch execution and data processing.
- Work with Control-M for job scheduling, monitoring, and batch workflow management.
- Manage application migrations and deployments using Changeman.
- Participate in on-call production support activities as required.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Mainframe Development.
- Hands-on experience with COBOL programming.
- Experience working with Db2 databases, including SQL development and optimization.
- Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting batch processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and monitoring.
- Experience using Changeman for source code management and migrations.
- Strong production support and incident resolution experience.
