Schedule: Mon-Friday (1/2 day on Friday s)

Duration: 12 Months

Candidate must have LinkedIn. Also must be local to TX

Must have 8 Years of Digital transformation project experience; projects involving software applications, including ERP apps, moving to the Cloud (AWS/Azure) from on-prem.

We have been told by the client that other Must Haves include: SQL or PL/SQL, Excel, and BI tools).

We are seeking a Sr. IT Business Analyst to support our client s digital transformation project onsite in downtown Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Business Analysis: Identify business needs of stakeholders and develop solutions for business problems.
• Data Gathering and Analysis: Design and implement strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements.
• Translate Business Needs: Convert business needs into functional requirements and guide the design of technology solutions.
• Project Collaboration: Work with managers and other staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Present Findings: Present and explain findings to leadership.
• Documentation: Track and document changes to functional and business specifications.
• Testing and Roll-Out: Play a key role in the testing and roll-out of new software or technology solutions.
• Reporting: Create detailed reports and give presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay Updated: Continuously stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years (minimum) experience as a Business Analyst or similar project role
• Prior Digital transformation project experience; projects involving software applications, including ERP apps, moving to the Cloud (AWS/Azure) from on-prem
• Knowledge of relevant software and technology solutions (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
• Understanding of system architecture and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
