Summary

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack - from electrons to tokens - to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that - with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved - people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of our corporate network infrastructure across offices, warehouses, and data centers. This role is ideal for an engineer who has moved beyond foundational networking and is ready to take ownership of medium-to-large network projects while continuing to grow toward an intermediate or advanced-level role.

You'll work closely with IT Operations, Systems Engineering, Security, and Project Management teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions across all corporate locations, with a clear path toward Senior Network Engineer responsibilities as you grow in the role.

What You'll Be Working On:
  • Design, implement, and support network infrastructure across offices, warehouses, and datacenters: full site-build lifecycle (topology, IP/VLAN/subnet design, wireless planning, redundancy/failover), BOMs, expansions, migrations, and refreshes.
  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot the full network stack (firewalls, switches, wireless), serving as an escalation point for complex issues, driving root cause analysis, and participating in on-call/after-hours support.
  • Ensure configurations align with security policies, support audits and vulnerability remediation, and assist with security system integrations (cameras, access control).
  • Configure SaaS integrations (SSO, SCIM, OIDC, OAuth - primarily Okta) and build automations/workflows using low-code/API tools like Workato and Postman, in partnership with IT and Security.
  • Bring an automation-first mindset: proactively identifying ways to reduce manual work and staying current on AI-assisted tools for IT infrastructure and ops.
  • Maintain network documentation (diagrams, IP schemas, VLAN assignments, rack elevations, port maps) and contribute to standardizing designs and deployment patterns.
  • Collaborate with Senior Network Architect and Engineers on complex initiatives, liaise with vendors/ISPs/carriers on circuit turn-ups, and mentor Network Analysts.
  • Travel up to 20% may be required to support site deployments.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in office, warehouse, or datacenter environments.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing.
  • Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.
  • Experience with wired and wireless enterprise networks.
  • Practical experience with circuit provisioning and carrier management.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network connectivity issues efficiently using Wireshark.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
  • Comfortable owning network components or projects end-to-end.
  • Ability to work effectively across IT, Security, and Operations teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A growth mindset: eager to learn new platforms and progress toward senior-level responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Points
  • Cisco Meraki experience (firewall, switching, wireless).
  • CCNA or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, DIA, SD-WAN), VPNs, and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with Lucid, Jira, IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, including SSO/SCIM/OIDC), low-code automation tools (e.g., Workato, Postman), and AI-assisted workflows.

Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off
  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
  • Daily meals allowance
  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $125,000 -$147,500 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
