Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Planning professional with strong expertise in managing promotional demand. The role focuses on aligning supply plans with promotional activities to ensure product availability, optimal inventory levels, and minimal supply disruptions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate promotion forecasts into executable supply plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply plans considering promotional uplifts, seasonality, and demand volatility.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Sales/Marketing teams to understand promotion calendars and forecast impacts.
• Translate promotional demand into capacity, procurement, and production plans.
• Perform what-if simulations and scenario planning for promotions and demand spikes.
• Monitor supply constraints and proactively resolve risks related to promotional events.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels and carrying costs during promotions.
• Support S&OP / IBP processes, ensuring promotional alignment across demand and supply.
• Analyze KPIs such as service level, fill rate, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of supply plans.
• Provide inputs for post-promotion analysis and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, preferably in FMCG, Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, or Hi-Tech industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with promotion planning and execution from a supply perspective.
• Experience with supply planning tools such as:
  • Oracle Supply Planning (Fusion / EBS / ASCP)
  • SAP APO / IBP
  • Kinaxis Rapid Response (preferred)
• Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
• Experience in inventory optimization and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
