Salary StatementEstimated Starting Salary Range: USD $84,000.00/Yr. - USD $139,950.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description- Performing basic installation, configuration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN and server environments supporting DoD applications
- Performing routine patching, user-account management, and entry-level troubleshooting
FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING#LI-TF1
Requirements- Bachelor of Science in IT, cybersecurity, data science, IS, or computer science (ABET/CAE) Alternative: Associate and four years experience or six years experience
- Active DoD top secret (or higher)
- Less than three years in basic system-admin duties (CSWF Basic)
- Either A+, Network+, CND, Security+, GSEC (or any equivalent DoD baseline)
Desired Skills- Proficiency with Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP) and basic Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and basic VM provisioning
- Ability to apply security patches, manage antivirendpoint protection, and perform routine backups
- Familiarity with basic network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
- Strong documentation skills for change-control and incident reports
Clearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITYTravel Requirements- Domestic travel: Up to 10 % of the year ( 2 weeks)
- International travel: < 5 % of the year, only when required for overseas coordination and clearance approval
