Job Summary
The AES Group is seeking a Boomi Runtime Specialist to provide production support and administration for an established Dell Boomi / Boomi AtomSphere Runtime environment.
This role will focus on the reliability, availability, security, performance, monitoring, and operational health of Boomi Runtimes and Runtime Clusters. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience troubleshooting production Runtime issues, managing Atom topology, supporting high availability, handling access and configuration changes, and coordinating with Infrastructure, Application Development, and IT Security teams.

The candidate must be comfortable providing on-call production support and working in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for existing Boomi Runtimes, Runtime Clusters, and Atom environments.
• Troubleshoot Runtime availability, deployment, execution, connectivity, configuration, and performance issues.
• Administer Runtime environments across Production, Test, and Development.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Boomi Runtimes and Runtime Clusters.
• Manage Atom topology, Runtime configuration, and high-availability settings.
• Monitor Runtime health, performance, capacity, processing volumes, execution times, resource utilization, and failure patterns.
• Review Runtime logs, system metrics, process executions, and error conditions to identify and resolve issues.
• Respond to production incidents and service requests while meeting established SLAs.
• Support change management activities, including configuration changes, maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.
• Manage Boomi users, roles, permissions, custom roles, and access-related issues.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, connectivity, and platform-access issues.
• Support secure management of certificates, credentials, endpoints, and Runtime dependencies.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure teams on operating systems, servers, networking, storage, certificates, DNS, firewalls, and connectivity.
• Collaborate with Application Development and Integration teams on process, deployment, and Runtime-related issues.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities for the Boomi environment.
• Participate in DR exercises and validate Runtime recovery and failover procedures.
• Develop and maintain operational runbooks, support procedures, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Analyze recurring incidents and recommend permanent fixes and operational improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring, alerting, automation, platform resilience, and support processes.
• Assist with future Boomi Runtime architecture changes, migrations, expansions, and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience providing production support for an existing Boomi environment.
• Strong experience administering Boomi Runtimes, Runtime Clusters, and Atom topology.
• Experience troubleshooting Boomi Runtime availability, deployment, execution, connectivity, configuration, and performance issues.
• Experience with Runtime installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and high-availability environments.
• Experience monitoring enterprise integration platforms and responding to production incidents.
• Experience managing Boomi users, roles, permissions, and custom roles.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity for integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, access controls, certificates, credentials, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with Infrastructure, Application Development, and IT Security teams.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be available for on-call production support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Boomi in a large enterprise, utility, or regulated environment.
• Experience with clustered, highly available, or distributed Boomi Runtime environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, logging, alerting, and ITSM tools.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, proxies, certificates, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure automation or configuration management.
• Boomi certification or equivalent integration-platform certification.
• Experience creating operational runbooks, knowledge articles, DR procedures, and support documentation.

Additional Requirement

Although this position is fully remote, the selected candidate will be required to visit the client's headquarters once for identity verification in accordance with cybersecurity requirements. 
Any additional onsite visit, if required, will be communicated well in advance.
