Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative AI Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale Artificial Intelligence solutions. This role combines deep expertise in AI/ML technologies, cloud architecture, data platforms, and enterprise integration to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Generative AI, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), cloud-native architectures, and enterprise transformation initiatives. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and data professionals to drive AI innovation while ensuring compliance, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Solution Architecture

• Define and evolve enterprise AI architecture aligned with business, data, and technology strategies.
• Design scalable, secure, compliant, and cost-effective AI and automation solutions across the organization.
• Architect end-to-end AI platforms and solutions, including:
  • Data engineering and ingestion pipelines
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
  • Model development and deployment
  • MLOps/LLMOps frameworks
  • AI lifecycle management
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate complex business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, frameworks, and design patterns for:
  • Generative AI
  • Agentic AI
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Conversational AI
  • Intelligent Automation

Technical Leadership

• Provide architectural leadership and governance across AI/ML initiatives.
• Evaluate, recommend, and standardize AI technologies, cloud services, frameworks, and tooling.
• Guide development teams on:
  • Model selection and evaluation
  • Prompt engineering
  • Fine-tuning strategies
  • RAG implementation
  • AI performance optimization
• Mentor engineers, architects, analysts, and product teams on AI best practices and emerging technologies.

Data, Integration & Platform Architecture

• Partner with Data Architects and Engineering teams to establish robust data pipelines, feature stores, and governance frameworks.
• Design secure, scalable integrations between AI platforms and enterprise systems using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and interoperability across enterprise environments.

AI Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security standards, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish responsible AI practices, including:
  • Model explainability
  • Bias and fairness assessments
  • Risk management frameworks
  • Monitoring and auditability
• Create and maintain AI governance standards, documentation, and operational controls.

Operations & Continuous Optimization

• Define and implement MLOps/LLMOps standards, including:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Model monitoring
  • Drift detection
  • Observability
  • Rollback and recovery processes
• Drive continuous improvements in model performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish KPIs, telemetry, and feedback mechanisms to measure AI solution effectiveness.

Collaboration & Enablement

• Partner with IT, Compliance, Operations, Product, and Customer Service teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Help establish and grow an AI Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Promote AI adoption through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and organizational enablement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, solution architecture, or technology delivery.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or AI solution architecture.
• Strong experience with Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) platforms, including:
  • OpenAI
  • Azure AI Foundry
  • Microsoft Copilot Studio / Agent Builder
  • Comparable enterprise AI platforms
• Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Microservices architecture
  • Event-driven systems
  • API-first design principles
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML development tools.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • MLflow
  • Kubernetes
  • LangChain
  • Vector databases
  • Feature stores
• Experience implementing:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Embedding models
  • Vector search solutions
  • Model fine-tuning and optimization
