DevOps with Github Actions

Title: DevOps with Github Actions
Location: Canada (Remote)

Job Responsibilities:

·         Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

·         Develop, catalog and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment.

·         Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

·         Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application and infrastructure performance.

·         Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure by implementing best practices.

·         Collaborate with software engineers to integrate and deploy applications smoothly.

·         Implement and manage container orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.

·         Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

·         Develop and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and tools.

·         Support and maintain development, staging, and production environments.

·         Design & deliver templates/frameworks to support automation of the DevOps work

·         Coordinate with the offshore DevOps team to plan, execute, deliver & support the CI/CD pipelines

·         Mentor the offshore DevOps team as required

·         Collaborate with the offshore DevOps lead and Five Below DevOps owner to provide thought leadership, innovative and cost-effective solutions, and chalk out a DevOps roadmap tailor made for the Engineering team

·         Display the capability to learn and apply the latest DevOps tools and technologies as required from time to time
