Job Description
Team is seeking a strong, hands-on SDE II-level engineer to build and evolve next-generation systems and AI-powered engineering capabilities. The engineer will work across systems software, AI/LLMs, automation, developer tools, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure. The role will involve hands-on engineering with complex software and systems environments, while providing opportunities to grow into AI powered software engineering, agentic systems, automated testing, program analysis, and scalable engineering platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who enjoys working across technology boundaries, learning new areas, and turning research ideas into practical engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain software across systems, AI, and developer platforms.
- Develop software in C/C++, Python, PowerShell, and potentially Rust/C#.
- Work with operating systems, system components, virtualization, and systems infrastructure.
- Build automation for software engineering, testing, debugging, and developer workflows.
- Develop and integrate LLM- and Agentic AI-based solutions for software engineering and program analysis.
- Explore automated code generation, test generation, debugging, program analysis, and developer productivity.
- Build tools and services that integrate AI with source code, engineering data, tests, logs, and system telemetry.
- Work with Azure, virtual machines, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 2-4 years experience required
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- large systems software design and development experience
- Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
