Summary

Seeking temporary contract (1099 or C2C) resources to assist with our direct higher education client's PeopleSoft Landing Page redesign project proposal request.
      
Ideally the project should begin sometime in June 2026 and be completed no later than October 2026. The work is to take place during weekday business hours; client is acceptable to a hybrid (Houston, Texas) or remote delivery format.
      
Please note that you must provide at least two examples of UX designs you have completed for customers using PeopleTools 8.62 to be considered. If you have not completed at least 2 UX designs using PeopleTools 8.62 that you can share, please do not apply.
    
    
Project Summary:
Texas college system is seeking qualified vendors to design, configure, and deploy a modernized look and feel for PeopleSoft Landing Pages across the following environments:
  • Integration Hub PUM 21
  • Campus Solutions PUM 37
  • Human Resources PUM 54
  • Financials PUM 55
  • ELM PUM 25
This initiative will leverage the new delivered features and capabilities available in PeopleTools 8.62, with the goal of improving user experience, navigation efficiency, branding consistency, and long-term maintainability.
 
The vendor will provide multiple design concepts for client consideration, collaborate with our internal stakeholders to refine the selected approach, implement the approved design across all environments, and deliver hands-on training to ensure our team can maintain and update the landing pages over time.
   
Scope of Work

   

1. Discovery and Requirements Gathering

  • Conduct discovery sessions with functional, technical, and UX stakeholders.
  • Review current landing pages, navigation structures, branding guidelines, and user pain points.
  • Document functional and technical requirements for the new landing page experience.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage PeopleTools 8.62 features such as:
    • New Fluid UI enhancements
    • Updated branding and theme configuration
    • Enhanced navigation collections
    • Improved tile and homepage management

   

2. Design and Prototyping
  • Create 3 5 distinct design concepts for the new landing page experience, incorporating institutional branding and UX best practices.
  • Provide mockups or interactive prototypes demonstrating layout, navigation, tile structure, and visual design.
  • Facilitate review sessions with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the preferred design.
  • Produce a final, approved design specification.

   

3. Configuration and Deployment
  • Configure and deploy the approved design across Integration Hub, Campus Solutions, Human Resources, Enterprise Learning Management and Financials.
  • Implement approved branding, themes, navigation collections, tiles, and homepage structures using PeopleTools 8.62 delivered capabilities.
  • Ensure consistency across environments while accommodating module-specific needs.
  • Validate compatibility with existing customizations, security roles, and workflow.
  • Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide deployment documentation and assist with migration to production.
  • Provide a week of post-production support to address any issues related to implemented design.

   

4. Knowledge Transfer and Training
  • Provide hands-on training sessions for functional and technical staff covering topics such as:
    • How to maintain and update landing pages
    • How to modify branding and themes
    • How to create and manage tiles, navigation collections, and homepage
    • How to leverage PeopleTools 8.62 features for ongoing UX improvements
    • Deliver guides and reference materials.

   

5. Project Management
  • Assign a project manager as the primary point of contact.
  • Provide a detailed project plan including milestones, timelines, and resource assignments.
  • Conduct weekly status meetings and provide written status reports.
  • Manage risks, issues, and change requests in coordination with our project team.

7. Acceptance Criteria - Deliverables will be considered complete when:
  • All landing pages are deployed and function as designed.
  • The design meets branding, accessibility, and usability requirements.
  • Documentation is complete.
  • Training has been delivered.
  • All defects identified during UAT have been resolved or formally deferred via documented agreement
