A bit about us:

We are hiring for a Lead Sustaining Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas Downhole tools Manufacturing industry. This role will be responsible for leading, teaching, and managing a team of engineers to ensure the sustainability of our manufacturing processes, with a focus on the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the design, development, and maintenance of downhole tools and other relevant equipment. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure the sustainability of our manufacturing processes. This includes setting performance goals, providing feedback, and facilitating training and development opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain downhole tools and other equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement sustainable practices in the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of our manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure they are operating at optimal efficiency and sustainability.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the sustainability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed.
  • Stay current with the latest developments and technologies in the manufacturing industry and incorporate relevant innovations into our processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Proven experience leading, teaching, and managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable practices in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of downhole tools and other equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
