These roles are 100% remote.
Being a US Cit is required for working on this program.

Senior Professional Business Analyst - Business Process Modeler/Trainer
Job Summary
The Senior Professional Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analyses that align information technology solutions with the strategic goals and objectives of multiple, complex accounts. Acting as a subject matter expert and liaison between technical and non-technical personnel, the Senior Business Analyst ensures seamless collaboration across teams and drives effective solution delivery. This role oversees requirements validation, business process modeling, and documentation while providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members. The position applies Medicaid pharmacy and care management expertise to translate clinical and operational policies into clear requirements, process models, use cases, and role-based training content that support solution adoption and operational readiness.
Essential Job Functions
· Leads the planning, design, and recommendation of business processes to improve and support key business areas.
· Facilitates in-depth analysis and documentation of client business requirements and processes, including constructing detailed business process models and workflows.
· Takes ownership of requirement and design documentation, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
· Leads and facilitates client meetings to validate requirements, identify gaps, and propose actionable solutions.
· Oversees and coordinates business analyst tasks across multiple information technology projects, mentoring junior team members.
· Develops comprehensive time estimates for project-related activities, including training development and business process modeling.
· Designs and implements methods to evaluate how business goals align with organizational needs and project objectives.
· Provides leadership, mentoring, and work guidance to less experienced business analysts.
· Publishes business process models to centralized Knowledge Exchange (KE) repositories and oversees documentation standards.
· Collaborates with clients, contractors, and site training managers to assess training needs, audience segmentation, and delivery schedules.
· Coordinates and supports provider and operational staff training, utilizing train-the-trainer or direct delivery methods as needed.
· Manages training material development, including eLearning videos, job aids, and desk-level procedures, to support go-live and operational readiness
· Applies Medicaid pharmacy care management knowledge to analyze and document workflows for utilization management, prior authorization, appeals, preferred drug lists and formularies, drug utilization review, clinical edits, member lock-in, and related care coordination activities.
· Partners with pharmacists, clinicians, care management teams, policy staff, operations, product, configuration, and technical stakeholders to elicit requirements, clarify business rules, identify cross-domain impacts, and validate end-to-end pharmacy processes.
· Translates pharmacy policy, clinical criteria, system configuration, and operating procedures into audience-appropriate business requirements, process models, use cases, user guides, job aids, demonstrations, and training curricula.
· Develops scenario-based training and validation materials for pharmacy and care management users, including state staff, clinical teams, providers, prescribers, pharmacists, help desk personnel, and operational staff.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Professional experience supporting Medicaid pharmacy, pharmacy benefit administration, pharmacy benefit management, managed care, or care management programs.
· 5–8 years of business analysis experience.
· Proven experience in analyzing and designing business processes and workflows.
· Strong understanding of CMS, MITA concepts, and healthcare operations, particularly in Medicaid environments.
· Working knowledge of pharmacy care management functions such as utilization management, prior authorization, appeals, preferred drug lists or formularies, drug utilization review, clinical edits, member lock-in, and clinical program operations.
· Expertise in relational database concepts and system integration methodologies.
· Proficiency in training methodologies, including Learning Management Systems and eLearning content development.
· Demonstrated ability to convert clinical, policy, and pharmacy operational concepts into clear requirements, process models, use cases, and training materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
