Job Title : Big data Developer
Work Location: Irving, Texas
Job Description:
- Experience 6 years overall software development experience primarily working with largescale data volumes from ingestion persistence and retrieval
- Significant handson experience in developing and optimizing solutions using Apache Spark With Scala
- Deep understanding of big data technologies including Hadoop Spark Kafka Flink and NoSQL databases
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in programming with Java or Scala specifically for Apache Spark development
- Proven experience with Apache Spark including PySpark knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with other big data technologies like Hadoop Kafka and Flink
- Experience with various NoSQL databases
- Strong problem solving skills with a knack for innovative solutions
- Experience with build tools eg Maven SBT Gradle and version control Git
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data modeling and ETLELT processes
- Experience in moving ETL frameworks from proprietary ETL technologies like Abinitio to Apache Spark
- Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of core bankingfinancial services systems
Soft Skills
- Excellent problemsolving analytical and debugging skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Ability to work effectively in an AgileScrum development environment
