Job Title : Big data Developer

Work Location: Irving, Texas

Job Description:

• Experience 6 years overall software development experience primarily working with largescale data volumes from ingestion persistence and retrieval
• Significant handson experience in developing and optimizing solutions using Apache Spark With Scala
• Deep understanding of big data technologies including Hadoop Spark Kafka Flink and NoSQL databases

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in programming with Java or Scala specifically for Apache Spark development
• Proven experience with Apache Spark including PySpark knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with other big data technologies like Hadoop Kafka and Flink
• Experience with various NoSQL databases
• Strong problem solving skills with a knack for innovative solutions
• Experience with build tools eg Maven SBT Gradle and version control Git

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data modeling and ETLELT processes
• Experience in moving ETL frameworks from proprietary ETL technologies like Abinitio to Apache Spark
• Familiarity with machine learning and data analytics tools
• Knowledge of core bankingfinancial services systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent problemsolving analytical and debugging skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
• Ability to work effectively in an AgileScrum development environment
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of features and deliver results
