Job description :

We’re looking for a highly skilled API Architect with deep expertise in Java and strong experience in data warehouse architecture. This role will focus on designing scalable APIs, integrating complex data systems, and enabling seamless data flow across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs using Java-based frameworks
Lead API strategy including RESTful services, microservices, and event-driven architectures
Architect and integrate APIs with enterprise data warehouse systems (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata)
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure efficient data access
Define API standards, governance, versioning, and security protocols
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and reliability of APIs and backend systems
Provide technical leadership, mentoring developers and reviewing code/designs

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong focus on Java
Proven experience as an API Architect or similar role
Deep understanding of:
- RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
- API gateways and management tools (Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway)
Strong experience with data warehouse architecture and modeling
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
