Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Software Engineer with strong experience in Java or Python, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and data engineering to design and build scalable enterprise data platforms.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data pipelines, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development, along with exposure to full-stack technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch & real-time) on Google Cloud Platform
Build and implement microservices and REST APIs
Work with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub
Develop and support data ingestion and integration frameworks
Contribute to full-stack development (React/Node.js or similar)
Implement data governance, security, and access controls
Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow SDLC best practices
Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and Terraform
Required Skills
Bachelor s Degree (Required)
5+ years of experience in software development (Java or Python)
3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc
Strong experience with microservices and REST API development
Hands-on experience with data pipelines & streaming technologies
Apache Beam, Kafka
Experience with full-stack development (React, Node.js or similar)
Experience with CI/CD tools, Terraform, and cloud deployments
Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and cloud data storage systems
Preferred Skills
Experience with Apache Kafka and streaming frameworks
Familiarity with Angular or other frontend frameworks
Knowledge of data governance, security (RBAC, encryption)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Nice to Have
Experience with enterprise data platforms
Exposure to SOA and scalable architecture design
Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
