The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and also have a desire to learn and develop technical expertise and leadership. Working on core technologies for macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS, you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the design and implementation of Apple's consumer products. Excellent C and C++ programming skills, experience with software debuggers (e.g. GDB, LLDB), compilers and linkers\nSolid understanding of storage specific data structures, operating systems internals, storage performance evaluation\nGenuine passion for file systems technology, data security, privacy, and strong commitment towards developing testability, reliability\nBachelors in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/skills
Experience in the design or implementation of one or more file systems\nUnderstanding of B-Trees\nUnderstanding of Transactions/Checkpoint mechanisms\nUnderstanding of Disk Space Allocators\nUnderstanding of NVMe Flash Storage, IO performance\nExcellent collaborative skills, ability convince technical perspective to skilled engineering team\nStrong preference for people experienced in techniques for developing software that is easy to test and debug.\nA \"Can-Do\" attitude, and commitment for \"doing what it takes to get it done right\" to ship projects on a preset schedule
