Information Security Engineer

Job Description

An Information Security job in Blue Ash, Ohio is currently available at Belcan. To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of four years of relevant experience.

Belcan has an immediate need for an Information Security Engineer who will be primarily responsible for
implementing, configuring, and tuning security technologies. This position will work closely with information technology teams to lead the design and implementation of security solutions to meet IT initiatives, business objectives, and regulatory requirements. This role also includes responsibility for ensuring that all security infrastructure technologies are managed to protect Belcan.

Job Duties:

Plan, install, operate, and maintain security infrastructure, including Vulnerability Management,
Endpoint Privilege Management, Privileged Access Management, Identity Management, Data Loss
Prevention/Data Classification, Network Detection and Response, SIEM, and AV.
Assist in the development and implementation of security programs, standards, policies, and
procedures.
Review and assess technology infrastructure to identify key risks and ensure controls are adequately
implemented to properly address those risks.
Partner with project, IT, and business teams to identify and implement security controls that secure systems while meeting business needs.
Provide expertise on security strategy and tactics for general security operations.

Required Qualifications:
4 - 8 years of relevant experience in information security engineering or a related cybersecurity role.
Hands-on experience with Thales CipherTrust Manager.
Knowledge of security integration practices and security protocols.
Experience with Palo Alto Prisma and Palo Alto XSIAM.
Experience with O365 DLP and Digital Guardian DLP.
Ability to support enterprise security solutions aligned with Custom Service technology environments.
Information Security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CEH are a plus.
Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security technologies and controls.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $85,000 to $105,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
