Job DescriptionMajor Responsibilities- Responsible for tracking and reporting Engineering cost savings across functions, ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals.
- Lead Field Process Engineering for an assigned region, with responsibility for overseeing one region and two Regional Managers reporting into this Senior Manager role.
- Own FPE performance at the site level, including accountability for key operational KPIs (SQCSP), branch support, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures to support consistent execution, operational excellence, and compliance across sites.
- Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and is responsible for identifying key stakeholders and obtaining their collaboration. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Establish schedules and project plans and specifications for all assigned projects. Measure and report on status of the project both financially and go-live dates.
- Set project specifications by studying project requirements, and standards; completing technical studies and developing preparing cost estimates.
- Responsible for negotiating and reviewing bids from contractors, consultants, subcontractors, municipalities or vendors and choosing partners that bring the best value to the company. Control costs by approving expenditures and seeking authorizations from the upper management as needed.
- Primary contact for assigned construction projects. Maintain construction files, plans and specifications. Review plans and specifications for new construction.
- Track and maintain multiple budgets.
- Prepare status reports and communications by summarizing information and reporting to upper management.
- Manage business systems integration and project /construction (including but not limited to: conveyor installs, pick module installs, parking lot, warehouse, office, and clean room buildouts) work from beginning, through to completion.
- Provide proactive leadership and direction for the Engineering / Operations Teams. This position will assist in starting up and handing off operations to the leadership team at designated project site.
Minimum RequirementsEducation - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Work Experience- At least 8 years experience with either greenfield construction, project management or continuous improvement.
- At least 8 years experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities- Ability to lead/direct the management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties / business partners towards the execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the project scope and objectives, involving all related parties ensuring technical and tangible feasibility.
- Support securing project approval.
- Measure project performance and report accordingly to management.
- Perform risk management to mitigate risks, for both the project and any potential risk to business operations.
- Position may require approximately up to 25% domestic travel.
- Intermediate skill level in Auto Cad.
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Project or similar program.
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$134,000.00 - $201,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
