Business Analyst (Change Mgmt)

This position is 100% remote from Day 1.

Complete Description

Responsibilities include ensuring quality transfer, storage, and processing of deliverables using version control with MES vendors, internal development teams, SMEs, and other contracted companies. The position involves maintaining databases, tracking logs, project deliverable files, generating status reports, and responding to project inquiries from management and staff. The analyst will work closely with the Information Management and PMO teams, DMAS SME community, and MES vendors.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Support Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) Projects within the Change Management department.
• Process new requests for deliverables and design documents in a timely manner, logging them in and pushing them to SMEs & PMs for next steps.
• Work directly with vendors providing modules/products for the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
• Process MES O&M requests/deliverables.
• Collaborate with Project Team members, management, SMEs, and vendors to ensure alignment with key cross-functional project activities.
• Align with the Project Management Office on change management work streams and related activities.
• Ensure smooth transition and awareness of release prior to deployment.
• Complete change management requirements/tasks and apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities.
• Develop strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders and serve as a key central IT point of contact with the Change Management team.
• Ensure project deliverable documents are stored and maintained in project folders, acting as the program librarian.
• Serve as a key resource for project reporting and coordination.
• Participate in all stages of the Project(s) Systems Development Life cycle.

Skills

• Considerable work-related experience in an IT environment (5 years, highly desired).
• Knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control (5 years, required).
• Knowledge and experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (5 years, required).
• Experience with data entry and work order processing (5 years, required).
• Experience with tracking and reporting; controlling processes; and managing workflow (5 years, required).
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills with internal and external customers (5 years, required).
• Experience in healthcare is a big plus.
