Location   : Austin - TX - (Hybrid)

Duration   : 6 months Approx.

Position Overview

·         Compliance and Quality Control (CQC) Division, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst 2 to support the re-write and modernization of its Solicitation Review System.

·         The current system—built using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, Excel, and PowerBI—will be redesigned and migrated to Jot form. The Business Analyst will lead requirements gathering, documentation, gap analysis, validation, and testing efforts while working closely with business stakeholders and the Senior Systems Advisor responsible for system design and development.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

·         Lead and coordinate requirements elicitation activities, including scheduling and facilitating meetings with CQC stakeholders. (40%)

·         Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and system requirements for the Solicitation Review System.

·         Conduct gap analysis between existing system functionality and desired future-state functionality, including workflow and PowerBI reporting needs. (20%)

·         Collaborate daily with the Senior Systems Advisor to ensure requirements are properly implemented and validated through testing. (30%)

·         Maintain and update requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

·         Provide weekly status reports to the Director of the Contract Compliance Unit, including progress updates, risks, and issues. (10%)

·         Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
