Job Title: SAP IFS Architect / Technical Functional Consultant (Aerospace & Defense)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP IFS Architect / Technical Functional Consultant with a strong background in Aerospace & Defense (A&D). This role requires a hybrid skillset spanning solution architecture, functional process expertise, and technical integration capabilities within SAP landscapes supporting IFS or IFS-aligned environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture design and implementation of SAP solutions aligned with IFS (Industry Foundation Standards) principles.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating A&D requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Drive end-to-end solution design across modules such as SAP S/4HANA, MM, PP, SD,and integration layers.
Support and optimize IFS-aligned processes including manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, and compliance.
Provide hands-on expertise in system configuration, enhancements, and integration (e.g., APIs, middleware).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability.
Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations.
Ensure compliance with A&D regulatory standards and best practices.
Contribute to system testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Required Qualifications
SAP experience, including solution architecture and functional consulting. Proven experience working with IFS frameworks or IFS-aligned SAP implementations.
Strong domain expertise in Aerospace & Defense (A&D).
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and core modules (MM, PP, SD, etc.). Solid understanding of integration technologies and system architecture.
Ability to work independently and lead client-facing initiatives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with A&D clients in regulated environments.
Familiarity with digital manufacturing, MRO, or supply chain transformation initiatives.
Experience in hybrid roles combining technical and functional responsibilities.
Candidates located in or willing to travel frequently to Detroit, MI or Cincinnati, OH.
Additional Details Travel expenses will be fully reimbursed if there is travel
