Summary

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a mid-level Business System Analyst with experience supporting enterprise applications and business process development. The ideal candidate would be local to the Columbia, SC area and have experience with insurance, healthcare, and/or finance applications.

The Business System Analyst is responsible for managing stakeholder communications and defining requirements for application development and enhancement projects as well as addressing business processes for enterprise clients. 

Duties:
  • Lead stakeholder interviews to identify client needs as well as validate and define business requirements, ensuring all requirements are thoroughly documented. 
  • Communication business needs to the technical teams, translating business requirements into functional requirements used within technical planning and execution. 
  • Map business processes and system workflows in Visio. Additionally, track development progress through MS Project.
  • Support testing teams through UAT. Ensuring acceptance criteria are well developed. 
  • Identify potential risks and constraints in delivery processes, actively work with the development and QA teams to remove obstacles. 
  • Run SQL queries to develop detailed system reports, validating operational and production success metrics.
  • Utilize Waterfall methodologies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as corporate policies. 
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, presenting progress, roadblocks, and solutions. 
Qualifications:
  • In depth experience working with client stakeholders as a Business System Analyst
  • Data Analysis work
