Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with hands-on experience working with Anthropic Claude (Claude Code). This role requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern SDLC practices, along with the ability to analyze and modernize legacy systems using AI-driven approaches.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Claude Code (Anthropic Claude) for:

Navigating large/unfamiliar codebases
Multi-file refactoring
Test execution
Git-based workflows

Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices:

REST API development
Scalable system design
Data persistence (RDBMS / NoSQL)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Git-based delivery
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proven experience in reverse engineering:

Extracting business logic from legacy systems
Creating PRDs and functional documentation
Converting requirements into user stories (e.g., Jira)

Familiarity with modernization approaches:

Refactor / rewrite / replace strategies
Transition from legacy to modern architectures

Knowledge of policy administration systems:

Product rules (underwriting, forms, rating)
Core policy engine concepts
Integration with legacy systems

Key Responsibilities

Use Claude Code to analyze and refactor large codebases using AI-driven techniques
Perform reverse engineering to extract business logic and document functional requirements
Translate technical findings into user stories and documentation
Design and develop Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality checks
Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments
Drive application modernization initiatives (refactor, rewrite, replace)
Ensure alignment with business systems, especially in policy administration domains
