Title: MicroStrategy developer Mid to senior role
Location: Remote
Duration: Short-term with the possibility of extension based on performance
Key Responsibilities:
- As a MicroStrategy developer, you will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and end-user applications.
- Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate in gathering and documenting reporting requirements to meet business needs.
- You will be responsible for defining the schema, cubes, creating objects/reports and dashboards, performance tuning, and assisting with testing.
- Design, develop, and implement BI systems in collaboration with Business Analysts and Data Architects.
- Remain current on the latest MicroStrategy technologies and facilitate plans to incorporate new features.
- Create and update SQL Stored Procedures.
- Create and maintain data pipelines, materialized views and nightly res.
- Experience with DevOps and SDLC processes.
Skills/Qualifications:
- A Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Must be willing to obtain a public trust clearance.
- Must possess 5+ years of development experience with MicroStrategy.
- Experience in writing SQL queries and analyzing data discrepancies and performance issues.
- Expertise in creating MicroStrategy documents, grid reports, and dashboards.
- Strong experience with SQL Stored Procedures.
- Familiarity with Redshift and materialized views.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
