JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the AI Tech Change Management & Community Programs Lead, you will own the cultural and community enablement engine of the organization. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive change management strategies to support organizational growth, operating model transitions, and cross-functional process rollouts.
In this role, you will manage all internal community programs across the AI Tech organization. You will direct internal communications (including executive announcements, newsletters, and all-hands messaging), launch and scale internal AI Championship and Ambassador networks, oversee our internal brand identity, and manage our internal web portals, g3doc sites, and go/ links. You will act as a cultural architect, bridging engineering teams, leadership, and external field communities to foster collaboration and advocacy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizational Change Management: Design, deploy, and execute structured change management plans to support organizational reorganizations, new operating models, and scaling initiatives across AI Tech.
- Internal Communications Cadence: Establish and lead the end-to-end internal communications strategy, drafting executive announcements, team newsletters, all-hands decks, and success story communications on behalf of AI Tech leadership.
- AI Championship & Ambassador Programs: Launch, scale, and govern internal AI Championship and Ambassador programs, cultivating a global network of technical evangelists across Google Cloud and partner ecosystems.
- Brand Identity & Storytelling: Own the visual brand identity, storytelling guidelines, and presentation templates for the AI Tech organization
- Website & Knowledge Portal Management: Own the architecture, content curation, and ongoing management of internal team web sites, developer portals, g3doc markdown repositories, and canonical go/ shortlinks.
- Community Engagement & Event Strategy: Design and organize community-building initiatives, FDE summits, technical hackathons, and knowledge-sharing forums to strengthen team cohesion and technical collaboration.
- Feedback Loops & Cultural Measurement: Establish qualitative and quantitative feedback mechanisms (e.g., pulse surveys, focus groups, sentiment tracking) to measure community health and drive continuous cultural improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor''s degree in Communications, Organizational Psychology, Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in change management, internal communications, community management, or organizational enablement within a high-growth enterprise technology company.
- Proven track record of leading change management and cultural transformation initiatives for large-scale engineering or go-to-market teams.
- Experience designing, launching, and managing employee advocacy, championship, or ambassador programs.
- Exceptional copywriting, executive storytelling, and verbal/written communication skills in English.
