Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to oversee and deliver on plans for a single capability. This role involves proficient management of work execution through project dependencies, risks, schedules, and budgets. The ideal candidate will communicate clearly with senior leadership, facilitate team progress, and ensure capability requirements align with the project scope to enable engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deliver against plans across a single capability.
- Proficiently manage work execution through project dependencies, risks, schedules, and budgets.
- Create, evolve, and communicate capability requirements and specifications that align with the scope and enable engineering.
- Apply technical, functional, and customer expertise to deliver accurate, precise, technically sound, and implementable requirements and specifications.
- Facilitate team progress in driving solutions and making effective business decisions.
- Support the creation of feature demos for stakeholders and business partners.
- Identify issues or changes and propose solutions to leadership.
- Own budget and resource planning.
- Maintain, manage, and report on the project log workbook to leadership, including communications plans, change requests, action items, and decisions.
- Analyze, validate, assess, and gain approval for change requirements.
- Communicate change request status to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Demonstrated ability to learn technology concepts, including Cloud, APIs, services, Windows stack, and opensource database technologies.
- Awareness of technical capabilities and their platform dependencies.
- Application of project lifecycle knowledge to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Understanding of estimates of effort to complete engineering workstreams.
- Experience leveraging communication standards to distribute information to the appropriate audience.
Skills:- Communicate clearly and concisely, in written and oral formats, with senior leadership about decisions, plans, and tasks.
- Effective listening and questioning to identify needs and share information.
- Ability to actively seek, absorb, and take action on feedback.
- Constructive contribution in team meetings and cross-discipline collaborations.
- Ability to recognize when information is missing and ask for assistance to resolve.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid work arrangement with 2-4 days onsite per week. This schedule is subject to change.
