Job Title: Azure DataOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid - Montpelier, Vermont.

Role Overview:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred
Certifications Required:
Candidates must provide training certificates for the relevant certifications.
- Azure AI Engineer Associate
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Certifications Preferred:
Candidates must provide training certificates for the relevant certifications.
- Databricks Data Engineer Associate (or Professional)
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- DAMA CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or DCAM (EDM Council Data Management Certification)
- SAFe Practitioner (SP) or Scrum Master (PSM I / CSM)
- Lean Six Sigma
- Security+ or ISC² CC
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of experience in data science, data analytics, business intelligence, or DataOps environments
- Experience supporting health data infrastructure or healthcare analytics projects, preferably in public sector environments
- Experience applying statistical analysis, anomaly detection, or pattern recognition techniques to structured and semi-structured datasets
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks, SharePoint, Power BI, and cloud-based data platforms
- Experience developing technical documentation such as SOPs, playbooks, and Wikis
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of data quality, statistical process control (SPC), anomaly detection, and performance monitoring techniques
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and operational metrics using Power BI or similar BI tools
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis, validation, and reporting
- Experience with metadata management, data validation, and governance practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Experience:
- Experience working with State government or public sector clients
- Experience with modern data lake environments or medallion architecture
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
