You will play a key role in designing resilient systems, evaluating emerging technologies, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Kotlin and microservices-based architectures.
- Architect and implement resilient distributed systems capable of supporting high-volume, enterprise-scale workloads.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct proof-of-concept initiatives to assess scalability, performance, maintainability, and cost effectiveness.
- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, code reviews, testing strategies, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create and document robust system architectures, workflows, and process flows.
- Mentor and support other engineers while providing technical leadership across multiple initiatives.
- Improve system reliability, resiliency, monitoring, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Establish and promote data quality standards across data ingestion, processing, storage, and operational workflows.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, CI/CD practices, testing, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of advertising technology solutions that align with business and platform objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying production applications using Kotlin.
- Experience with Java/J2EE application development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend architectures.
- Experience working in monorepo-based development environments.
- Experience with event-driven systems and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with databases including one or more of the following:
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Cassandra
- Elasticsearch
- Proficiency with automated testing frameworks including JUnit and integration testing methodologies.
- Experience using observability and monitoring tools such as:
- Elasticsearch
- Logstash
- Kibana
- Grafana
- Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience designing technical solutions that support advertising and business objectives.
