Summary/ObjectiveFive Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.
Essential Functions- Serve as IT systems trusted advisor.
- Provide expert council on selection of IT systems, components, and technologies.
- Oversee integration planning and deployment of IT systems. Coordinate with customer to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards, including STIG, RMF, and vulnerability management best practice.
- Evaluate technologies and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Required Education and Experience- BA/BS in a related field
- Minimum of 20 years related experience supporting classified and unclassified DoD environments.
- Senior / expert level knowledge of the following:
- IT infrastructure design and implementation
- Windows workstation and Server OS
- Active Directory
- RHEL
- VMware vCenter/vSphere
- High performance computing clusters (HPC)
- Automation tools such as PowerShell and Ansible
- RMF auditing
- STIG mitigation
- SCAP/SCC
- Vulnerability management with Tenable Nessus
- Patch and configuration management (WSUS)
- Backup and recovery implementations
- Log and event monitoring and management
- Minimum of DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
