Description
One of TEKsystems' clients, a global company and leader in their respective industry is looking for a Level 2 Helpdesk/Desktop Support technician to join their team. The candidate will join a small local team and provide end user support to all of the internal end users across the U.S. The technician will be taking incoming calls/tickets and be expected to provide exceptional customer service and solve technical issues. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Windows 11 OS, Active Directory (policies, distribution groups), VMWare, and Sharepoint over the phone, at the users' desks, or via remote management software. The support technician will also be responsible for setting up new users with hardware -- laptops, iphones, printers -- and be responsible for ensuring access and licenses are turned on/off appropriately. Any experience with file and print servers or networking would be helpful, but not required. The company is a Microsoft/Azure Cloud shop as well.

This position is onsite but offers 1 day a week remote. There may be some limited travel to nearby sites/plants. This position starts out as a contract, but the manager is hopeful that this person will convert to FTE...it's based on merit.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
