Senior AI Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build internal AI systems and conversational intelligence tools in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role focuses on developing AI-powered applications, agentic workflows, semantic search systems, and chatbot functionality for a large-scale enterprise platform.

You will design and develop custom AI workflows using TypeScript, build RAG and semantic search solutions, and integrate contextual AI capabilities into enterprise tooling. You’ll work closely with AI engineers, product managers, QA, and platform teams to deliver scalable AI solutions across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, hands-on, and comfortable building and iterating quickly in evolving environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript development experience (Python a plus)
• Experience building AI-powered applications or conversational AI systems
• Experience with agentic workflows, semantic search, or RAG systems
• Strong understanding of scalable system architecture
• Experience working with unstructured data
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in fast-moving engineering environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Python experience
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar frameworks
• Experience building custom AI tooling and workflows
• Experience evaluating AI response quality and relevance
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms or internal AI tools
• Startup or highly autonomous engineering experience preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or related field

Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid/Remote)
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Rate Range: $58-$68/hr. (depending on experience)
