High Speed PCIe/OCP Board design Engineer
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or related field
Role Summary
We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in PCIe-based OCP board design, focused on Ethernet NICs or Storage Controllers, for high-performance data center platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop PCIe-based OCP accelerator/NIC/storage boards
· Schematic design, component selection, and board bring-up
· High-speed design for PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, power, and clocks
· Work with SI/PI teams for signal and power integrity analysis
· Debug hardware issues during bring-up and validation
· Collaborate with firmware, validation, and system teams
· Required Skills: Strong experience in PCIe board-level hardware design
· Hands-on experience with Ethernet NICs or Storage Controller hardware
· Knowledge of OCP form factors and specifications (Open Compute Project)
· High-speed interfaces: PCIe Gen4/Gen5, Ethernet (25G/50G/100G)
· Schematic/layout tools and board bring-up (JTAG, scopes, analyzers)
Nice to Have
· Experience with data center NICs or NVMe storage
· Signal integrity, power integrity, and compliance testing experience
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be $90,000 to $120,000 and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role.
