Job Overview

The Data Solutions Lead serves as the bridge between the business and technical teams, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions.

This is a highly collaborative, consultative role that works closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify opportunities for data, AI, and analytics solutions, and guide the technical team toward the right approach.

The role combines business consulting, solution design, data analysis, and project leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable presenting recommendations, challenging assumptions, and working directly with business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges, requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Identify opportunities where data, analytics, AI, or automation can improve business processes and results.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and solution approaches.
• Work closely with AI/ML engineers, data modelers, data integration, governance, and other technical teams to develop solutions.
• Help determine the appropriate technology, data, and overall approach for each business problem.
• Use data profiling and analysis to evaluate feasibility and inform solution design.
• Lead project discussions, provide status updates, and keep business stakeholders aligned throughout development.
• Present solutions and recommendations to business partners and leadership.
• Help ensure technical solutions deliver meaningful business value and actionable outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted consultant and subject matter expert to business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with data, analytics, technology, or business solutions.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and requirements-gathering skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Experience working cross-functionally with both business and technical teams.
• Strong understanding of how data can be used to solve business problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis/programming tools.
• Experience with data profiling and evaluating data quality or feasibility.
• Experience with AI/ML, analytics, automation, or data products.
• Consulting, solution design, business analysis, or technology strategy experience.
• Experience presenting recommendations to senior business stakeholders.
