IT Asset Manager / Technical Support

Location: Little Rock, AR – Onsite
Duration: Contract through June 30, 2027
Start Date: September 7, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day
Travel: Approximately 2 days/week to AGFC offices statewide

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Asset Manager / Technical Support Specialist to provide IT asset management and hands-on technical support for the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission. This role will manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets while providing field and end-user support across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and AMDB/CMDB records.
• Provide Helpdesk, Field Support, and End-User Support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
• Manage software licenses, renewals, compliance, and vendor relationships.
• Administer ITSM/ITAM tools and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot Windows, LAN connectivity, imaging, and mobile device issues.
• Support Windows 11, Active Directory, iOS, and Android environments.
• Generate reports on asset utilization, costs, compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and enforce IT asset management policies and workflows.
• Provide onsite technical assistance at AGFC offices throughout Arkansas.
• Deliver excellent customer service to technical and non-technical users.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT Asset Management experience.
• 3+ years of Helpdesk or Field Technician experience.
• 3+ years of End-User Hardware Support experience.
• 3+ years of ITSM/ITAM tool administration.
• 3+ years of software installation and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Valid driver''s license and insurance.
