Job Title: Tech Lead: UX Researcher — AI & Quantitative Specialist
Location: San Jose, CA / Seattle, WA – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a UX Researcher – AI & Quantitative Specialist to support an AI-Native research practice through AI-augmented research, quantitative analysis, behavioral data analysis, and mixed-methods research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply AI tools across research workflows including synthesis, analysis, screener design, and reporting.
- Lead AI adoption initiatives and coach research teams on AI-native practices.
- Design and analyze quantitative studies, surveys, concept tests, and benchmarks.
- Apply statistical methods including significance testing, regression, factor analysis, conjoint, and MaxDiff.
- Analyze behavioral/product data using Power BI, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools.
- Combine behavioral data with primary research to generate actionable insights.
- Conduct user interviews, usability studies, diary studies, and contextual research.
- Lead AI research initiatives and develop AI-assisted research processes, templates, and playbooks.
- Collaborate with Researchers, Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Analytics teams.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in UX research.
- Strong quantitative research and statistical analysis experience.
- Experience with survey design and large-scale quantitative studies.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent behavioral analytics platforms.
- Strong mixed-methods research experience (Qual + Quant).
- Experience leading AI-related research initiatives.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- UserTesting, Qualtrics, Airtable, Maze, or similar research tools.
- Experience in Agile/product-led environments.
- Foresight / Strategic Foresight experience, including scenario planning, horizon scanning, or trend analysis.
