Summary

3rd Shift Lamination Machine Operator needed in Byron Center!

Arrow Staffing is hiring for a foam production company in Byron Center, just south of the Kentwood and Cutlerville areas. This machine operator will assist with running machinery in the lamination department.This is an entry level manufacturing position which assists with production, inspection, packaging of finished product, and cleanup of scrap material.

This is a great temp to hire opportunity with weekly pay!

Schedule:

3rd shift - 8:30 PM to 7:00 AMMonday-Thursday
Overtime may be required

Starting Pay:

3rd shift - $20.00 per hour

Requirements:

Well rounded, reliable candidate who is willing to be a team player and maintain great attendance
High school diploma or GED preferred
Able to read and write in English
Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools
Ability to work well independently with little supervision
Ability to consistently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and climbing steps regularly throughout their shift
Tolerant of temperature changes

Job Duties:

Assist with operating machinery for molding, lamination, embossing, block cutting, and wrapping
Set up and power down machines before and after use
Maintain productivity standards and verify parts are being produced correctly per customer orders
Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per specific production instructions
Assist team with additional warehouse/production duties as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow basic general safety procedures
