Position Summary:

As a Senior Program Manager for Interoperability, you will be responsible for the program analytics, data requests, value modeling, and end-to-end life cycle data monitoring. You will also be responsible for product post-production support of the electronic exchange of clinical data, with a focus on supporting our business operations. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment to deliver program analytics that support the product vision with a clear focus on providers, customers, regulatory and end-user needs. You will assist with program strategy, and portfolio and planning initiatives. You will help with program value forecasting, tracking, and actuals. As part of the Interoperability team, you will work collaboratively with Business, Clinical, Architecture, Compliance, IT, and Legal to deliver data requirements that support technologies and processes that comply with government regulations and advance our strategy for electronic clinical data exchange. The desired candidate will have proven experience as a seasoned project manager, with experience using tableau, spreadsheets, GPC and other data bases for analytics and reporting. A successful candidate is comfortable working independently in an ambiguous, changing.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading and Managing Teams: Supervise and guide technical staff, develop project plans, and ensure team accountability.
  • Problem Solving and Incident Management: Address production issues, troubleshoot problems, and resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production support efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with developers, testers, project managers, business subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and clear communication.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production support performance.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of program strategy that aligns with business needs.
  • Vendor Management: Work with internal and external IT hardware and software vendors to ensure that organization needs are met effectively.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Guide and support team members, provide mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document procedures, processes, and solutions to ensure effective knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement production support policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years or more of healthcare experience
  • At least 5 years in data science and data analytics. Must be able to function in Tableau, GPC, Excel, QuickBase, and other data bases
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Program Manager with a proven track record of managing complex projects
  • Experience Electronic Health Records, and Clinical Data Structure / Data Exchange
  • Executive presentation skills and knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex data sets
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to program in SQL
  • Medicare, Medicaid or Individual Health Plan experience
  • Familiarity with Revenue Integrity and HEDIS/STARS business functions
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and compliance requirements for government business
  • Process mapping and discovery experience
  • Certification in SAFe Agile methodology or Project Management Professional

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required

This role is a work from home/remote position and can be based anywhere in the United States

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $165,954.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
