Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Architect with a strong background supporting U.S. Federal Government clients. The ideal candidate will lead architecture design, ensure compliance with federal standards, and drive scalable Salesforce solutions across complex environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end Salesforce architecture for federal programs
  • Lead solution design across Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with federal security standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST
  • Define architecture for integration with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and admins
  • Establish best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and release management
  • Oversee data architecture, governance, and security models
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices
  • Support proposal development and technical solutioning for federal RFPs (if needed)

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Salesforce architecture
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce
    • Salesforce data modeling and security architecture
    • Integration patterns and tools (MuleSoft, REST, SOAP)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Government Cloud (GovCloud)
  • Experience working with Federal agencies (e.g., DHS, DoD, HHS, VA, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of FedRAMP / FISMA compliance requirements
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Salesforce certifications such as:
    • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred)
    • Application/System Architect certifications (required/preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of identity management (SSO, OAuth, SAML)
  • Experience with data migration and ETL tools
  • Prior experience supporting large-scale federal transformation programs

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Leadership mindset with experience guiding distributed teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI capabilities in Salesforce (Einstein AI)
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid architectures (AWS/Azure + Salesforce)
