Summary

We are seeking a skilled ML / AI Engineer with strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance underwriting, claims processing, fraud detection, and risk analysis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and insurance analytics to support digital transformation initiatives within the insurance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI/ML models for insurance use cases such as claims automation, underwriting optimization, and fraud detection.
  • Build predictive analytics solutions to improve risk assessment and pricing strategies.
  • Work with large insurance datasets including policy, claims, and underwriting data.
  • Develop NLP models for document processing, claims notes analysis, and customer communication automation.
  • Deploy and maintain models using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, actuaries, business analysts, and product teams.
  • Implement MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory and data security requirements.
  • Build AI solutions for customer experience, automation, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Programming: Python, Java, or Scala
  • ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn
  • Data processing: SQL, Spark, Hadoop
  • Experience with predictive modeling, deep learning, and NLP
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture

Domain Experience (Mandatory / Preferred)

  • Experience working in Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Knowledge of Claims Management, Underwriting, Policy Administration
  • Experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Insurity
  • Understanding of insurance risk modeling and actuarial analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development
  • Experience working with insurance data pipelines and analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to translate business problems into AI solutions
