Position Overview

Our client, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer / Salesforce Technical Expert to lead the design, development, integration, and implementation of secure, scalable, and user-centric Salesforce solutions for the Back@Home project.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience combined with enterprise-level architecture, integrations, DevOps, data migration, security, accessibility, and technical leadership experience.

Certification Requirement Mandatory

The consultant must possess at least 4 of the following 6 Salesforce/MuleSoft certifications. Candidates without at least 4 certifications will be disqualified.

1. Salesforce Technical Architect / Application Architect Certification
2. Salesforce Integration Architect Certification
3. Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
4. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification
5. MuleSoft Certified Developer Level I
6. MuleSoft Certified Developer Level II

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and APIs.
• Provide day-to-day Salesforce administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Architect and develop enterprise-grade Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
• Design and implement Salesforce data models, security models, automation, workflows, approvals, and sharing mechanisms.
• Lead and support data migration, ETL, data transformation, and large-volume data loads.
• Guide development teams on Salesforce platform best practices, architecture, coding standards, and appropriate technology usage.
• Implement and maintain Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Salesforce environments, deployments, version control, user roles, permissions, and security policies.
• Work with Salesforce Shield and Lightning technologies to support enterprise security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Apply advanced architectural patterns, object-oriented design principles, unit testing, and Salesforce best practices.
• Support mobile solutions and understand Salesforce mobile architecture and on-platform mobile considerations.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility requirements and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, technical leads, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Work within Agile development methodologies and participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform.
• 7+ years of experience in requirements analysis and business process design.
• 7+ years of experience architecting and developing complex Salesforce solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with:
• Apex
• LWC
• Aura
• Visualforce
• SOQL/SOSL
• Salesforce Flows
• Salesforce Administration
• APIs and integrations
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, development, data modeling, security, automation, and workflows.
• Strong experience with enterprise Salesforce integrations.
• Experience guiding development teams on Salesforce platform technology and best practices.
• Strong object-oriented programming experience with languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Ruby.
• Experience with data migration strategies and ETL tools.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD pipelines 5+ years preferred/required.
• Experience with Salesforce Shield and Lightning.
• Experience with GitHub and/or Bitbucket 5+ years.
• Experience with Agile methodologies 5+ years.
• Experience with accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 compliance 5+ years.
• Experience with mobile solutions and Salesforce mobile architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale, statewide, government, healthcare, or enterprise systems is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public-sector or healthcare Salesforce implementations.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, Architect, or MuleSoft certifications.
• Experience working with large enterprise Salesforce environments.
• Experience with integration middleware and API-based architectures.
