Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually - $220,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our Client is looking for an RF Engineer to design and develop advanced antennas and associated support equipment. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production, and collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to define requirements and deliver high-performance RF solutions.
Our core technologies include stripline and microstrip antenna designs. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, lead technical development, and expand our RF product capabilities. All design, fabrication, and testing are performed in-house, giving you hands-on experience with manufacturability and end-to-end system performance.
This job will have the following responsibilities: - Design antennas from initial concept through prototype, production, and test.
- Translate customer requirements into RF designs that meet or exceed performance needs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define operational requirements.
- Support manufacturing and testing, including RF validation and environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, and thermal vacuum).
- Contribute to technical proposals and customer presentations.
- Manage multiple custom, high-variability projects simultaneously.
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in RF design and testing.
- Proficiency with RF and antenna simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, MATLAB, or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience designing stripline and/or microstrip antennas.
- Strong understanding of RF systems, antenna theory, and electromagnetic simulation.
- Experience with design for manufacturability and production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers on technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex RF concepts clearly.
